The effectiveness of the MikroPLASTIK-STOP™ filter has been tested by accredited independent laboratories in Italy and by the laboratory Wessling GmbH in Germany, and it has been shown to filter out more than 99.5% of microplastics measuring 0.1 µm or larger that may be found in tap water. For microparticles measuring 1 micrometre or more, the percentage of microplastics removed exceeds 99.99%.
