The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter must be replaced after 1200L / 4 months of filtered water.

The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP tap filter is an appliance intended for the treatment of drinking water. The filter treats drinking water by improving the taste of the water and reducing undesirable substances that may be present in the water. The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter provides 1200 litres (maximum 10 litres filtered water per day for 120 days). After 120 days (maximum 1200 filtered litres during that time), the filter must be replaced.
Filter systems produced by LAICA comply with the following regulatory requirements:
The results described in tables (1) and (2) are based on initial mains supply drinking water with total chlorine ≥0.12 mg/L. The tests for the HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter were carried out over the course of 1200 filtered litres for a maximum of 10 litres per day for 120 days (maximum duration of the filter as per conditions of use indicated to the user).
Table (1) shows the parameter values (only for parameters for which there is a variation over the 1200 filtered litres) identified for the mains water over the 120 days used for filtration testing.
The treatment carried out by the LAICA filtering system, analysed for the parameters under Legislative Decree no. 31 of 2 February 2001 as transposed showed variations only for those parameters indicated in the table.

The performance table (2) refers to tests carried out with mains water (description of mains water reported in "Methods of test execution") supplemented with chlorine, chlorinated herbicides, chlorinated pesticides, chlorinated solvents and microplastics in order to highlight reduction potential and provide guaranteed minimum performance values related to these substances.
The tests were carried out during the useful life of the filter in line with the conditions of use indicated to the user.
Treatment with the LAICA filter system, in line with the indications of use and maintenance and the use times indicated as per this manual, guarantees the following performance values (table 2).
